Hiking With Mommy

Liam enjoyed a nice fall day hike in th ergo with mommy this past weekend. It has since gotten cold, cold.

Liam's friend Graham got to come over the past couple afternoons.

H2Oasis

Liam made his first trip to the waterpark and we met up with Brian and Riley for some fun swimming. Also, Liam is his new swim diaper - good thing he didn't poop, in mommy's new chair, in the car with Graham and at home with mom, Laura and Henry.

Story Hour

Liam got to go with Colette, Michael and Graham to story time (twenty minutes actually) at the library and Steve figured out how to pilfer photos from their much more sophisticated and engaging blog. Here they are. The last one is the two boys and their moms hangin' out at Graham's house. Liam and I are going swimming today - woo hoo.

Artsy

Liam is happy to report that his grandfather is feeling better and out of the hospital. He went to his first art opening, but was more interested in playing with Ella and Riley than looking at their dad's photographs.

Get well soon Grandpa

Liam's Grandpa Joe is sick in the hospital with pneumonia. We made a sign and Liam is wearing his dad's favorite hat, that Grandpa Joe gave him a long time ago. We are thinking about him lots and praying for a quick recovery. Liam's turning into a Cleary - bread, books and bed by 7. We ran to Great Harvest today as we had a two for one coupon. Dirk the owner gave us another loaf and a sandwich so we had a stroller full for the way home.

There it goes

Snow fell last night and now it's going going.... oh well. Sure it will be back. Here's the trail by our house. Our parsley and hammock were flash frozen. Liam is enjoying reading books.

There's No Business...

Like Snow Business. It's now snowing at our house, but we went up to the mountains earlier, where it was really snowy and cold. Liam and his friend Alex were safe and sound in their Chariots, but Matt, Mari, Liz and I were pretty cold. Here he his rosy cheeked in his leisure suit afterward.

Here comes the snow

Liam got snowed on for the first time today. Here he his smiling while his mom talks to Granny Sue. He shared his stroller with blue monkey and our friend Gillian, though he seemed a little sad with the latter. Last picture is his snow suit hanging up in between his mom's ski boots and dad's big parka. We'll see which of those gets more use this winter.

Changing Seasons - Changing jobs

Liz and I switched spots this week. She's back to her counseling job with the Anchorage School District and I am at home with Liam. It's going okay so far. Here's some pics from the first week - last veggie delivery of the year, sleepy Liam after the Tuesday night race and some sunny hammock time with mama.
