Hiking with Henry

Welcome to Charles Henry Couvillion - five day old baby of our friends Laura and Charlie. Congrats. Liz, Liam and I even got to go hiking with Henry yesterday and it is astounding to us that Liam was ever that small. And that he was that small three months ago. Feels like someone stole my memory. Not to be about done, Liam was newborn again last night, getting up lots and SCREAMING. We shall survive.

Stroller for Two

We finally convinced another child to ride with Liam in his Chariot. Amber and Alden came over and went for a stroll. Later, Liz got to go out with friends Angie and Jill.

Good luck Laura and Charlie

Liam is anxiously awaiting the birth of a new friend. We had a shower last Saturday for our friends Laura and Charlie. Here's Laura at the party, Liam wearing a special shirt made by Liz Repetto - Chugach is the name of the mountains nearby and the squiggly line represents ski tracks. The kids in the last picture are painting onesies for the new arrival.

Rocky Mountain High

Just figured out how to get the great photos from the Howells into our library so I'll start posting them. Liam really enjoyed his visit to Granny Sue and Grandfather Jan's house. Plus his parents got to get a real sunburn.

Liam Visits Colorado

And he got to meet his two month old cousin Alex, as well as his Uncle Nick and Aunt Susan. Our camera ran out of memory, so I'll post some pictures of Granny Sue and Grandfather Jan later. Thanks for all the great hospitality and a fun visit.

Sit up Straight

Since he turned three months, it's time for Liam to sit up like a big boy. He also got a beautiful blanket from Stephanie and Brian and did a winter warm-up. Hope he doesn't need that suit for a while yet. I noticed our wine rack this morning - ahhh parenthood. It's not a very old bottle, but should be easy to open.

More news

So Liam is allergic to not only milk but wheat, eggs and rye. So Liz will continues to be a steak-eating vegan for the next months. We are trying to learn how to cook more things. Alas, a moose ate our broccoli and cauliflower. We did get a nice visit from Anna and Patrick and their cute daughter Mellen.
