Do I Look Like...

my dad? or not that dorky? Since I shaved and cut my hair I thought I would take off my glasses and see if Liam and I look alike. Back to the doctor today to see about the allergies. The patch came off yesterday.

Get off my back

Liam got to go to the Allergista today to check on his milk allergy and to see if there are any others. He had no severe reaction to anything - good news. They put on two big patches with lots of possible allergens to check. As the allergestation period is a few days, he can't have a bath til after his appointment on Thursday. Add that to the 15 or 16 days he's gone since his last bath and that's quite a long time. He weighed in at 5.8 kg, which we all know to be 34 lbs. Just kidding - 5.8 x 2.2 = 12.76 lbs or 12 lbs 12 oz by my math. The sun came out Sunday as Liam was going to bed and getting a special foot massage.

Bottle Time

Dad gets to feed Liam from the bottle. Liam's also been trying on lots of new clothes and we went for a walk yesterday on the coastal trail with Michael, Colette and Graham.

Can't Bear it

These pictures are from the "I don't want to roll over any more" collection. LIam was tired of too much tummy time. When he and I were delivering vegetables yesterday, we got stopped on the trail by several people who saw a bear. When we nervously got home, our across the street neighbor said the bear was right outside her door when she opened it. It ran off.

Somewhat Sunny Saturday

The sun came out (and in and out and in) yesterday so we hiked out to a yurt near the Eagle River Nature Center with everyone and their dogs. They all stayed the night, but we opted for nice evening stroll back to the car and came home.

Friends and Diapers

Colette and baby Graham came over for a visit and Liam got to show Graham his duck. Liz bought Liam a new frog diaper and here's Liam wearing the pink just the other day and when he was a lot smaller. He's getting big.

Liam's First Cabin Trip

Sunday night was our first overnight away from home. It went pretty well - we all survived. Thanks to Dick and Liska for letting us stay at their cute cabin near Palmer. There's still a big cloud hanging over all of Alaska and we are waiting for some sun. There was a little for a quick backyard barbecue.

Still looking for sun in Alaska

It's mostly been the land of the midnight gray up here this summer, but we're still having fun. Liam got to deliver vegetables in the same type of wagon Half Pint used to use in Little House on the Yuppy Prairie. Looks like he doesn't like mibuna or arugula yet. He likes reading books and looking at his duck.

Smiley

Sometimes he smiles, though pretty fussy today in anticipation of his two month doctor visit tomorrow.

Liam's Chariot awaits no longer

The Chariot jogging stroller is ready to go and Liam enjoyed it yesterday. Wish we would have had it when our niece Sarah was here cause then she could have pushed it and I might have been able to keep up with her.

That's how we roll

Liam's been rolling around lots and here he is rolling over.
